ottawa_sox
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 23, 2006 -> 07:53 PM) Was PK standing on the base? I understand how he was out, but he must have not been running hard to be out by that far. He simply has no speed. Give the guy a break.
whitesoxfan101
I'm not sure why we need to call up another pitcher. Our bullpen has been fine lately and they aren't being overworked, even with as bad as our rotation has been.
Jordan4life_2007
So, Mr. Garcia. Will 6 runs be enough for you this night? You know, since you lost your last start because we didn't hit.
kwolf68
My theory is if Thome is out, just stick Gload in there...If 6, 7 runs a game isn't enough for this chump pitching we don't deserve it anyway. The hitting has carried this pitching staff all year (save Jose some and Garland some)...now is the time for these pitchers to get it going. santo=dorf
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Aug 23, 2006 -> 06:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Singleton says the game is far from being over. Nice confidence in Freddy. In fairness, Farmer spews the same s*** when we're down by 6 in the 8th. I was at the game, so can anyone tell how farmer was reacting after Cintron's grand slam against the Royals? Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(Cerbaho-WG @ Aug 23, 2006 -> 06:54 PM) No it won't. Tracey can't find anything right now, Logan isn't needed, and no one else deserves a promotion. Our offense has been sporatic at best, we need a hitter, strikeouts be damned. Neal Cotts says hello. Brian
QUOTE(kwolf68 @ Aug 23, 2006 -> 06:58 PM) Freddy having trouble putting away a little league hitter. I saw that 6'8 kid from Saudi Arabia play the other day. That kid swings like a girl. Now I feel bad for picking on a "13 year old".

I've seen them, and they confirm that I think he'll be a damn good lefty out of our pen. But not this year, and rushing him up again and putting him in a tough spot won't help.
