Kid Gleason
QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 04:59 PM) I cannot believe that I am the only one in here who has any classical, jazz or soundtrack music in their iPod. I do see one or two blues tracks, though. Not true. I have a bunch of Jazz and Soundtracks, but I also have 9,882 songs on here. They might not show up within 10. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 05:47 PM) Just because it doesn't come up when I randomly select 20 of the 3449 songs on my playlist doesn't mean I don't have any. Hell, there was even a soundtrack song that did pop up on mine...sure it was from star trek, but it was there! Star Trek counts. QUOTE(The Critic @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 05:54 PM) Do songs from the soundtracks to The Wedding Singer, This Is Spinal Tap or River's Edge count? Cuz then I'm all about soundtracks!! Heck yeah that counts! Especially Spinal Tap. QUOTE(bmags @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 06:02 PM) ten out of 6000 songs i have every miles davis, duke ellington, roland kirk, coltrane, parker, etc etc album but jazz albums typically had longer songs = fewer songs = less chance in this lottery bro. Nice. Only of those I don't own some of is Roland Kirk (that I can think of). QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 06:26 PM) My jazz is mostly on vinyl. Although I had Bossa Nova in my list, thankyouverymuch QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 06:27 PM) Not true. I have a bunch of Jazz and Soundtracks, but I also have 9,882 songs on here. They might not show up within 10. I stand corrected. I guess there are plenty of you! QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Aug 28, 2006 -> 08:03 PM) Number 11 was the theme song from Lost Boys. Just missed the list. Sorry Northside I feel much better now. Still old, but better. And jeez, I only have like 3800 songs on mine.

DBAHO
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 29, 2006 -> 10:42 PM) Am I the only person left in the world who doesn't own an Ipod? I'm gettin a Creative Zen Vision:M 30GB in a few weeks. I consider it to be better than the I-Pod Video Alternative, because it's got longer battery times, and more Div X Codec's and can play more Media Files than an I-Pod. So I can put all of my Family Guy episodes etc. on it, and it should play without a problem.

I didn't have one until this past Father's Day, and I'm still not 100% into the damn thing. At least it's not freezing on me anymore (knock on wood) - I guess I had a corrupt music video file on there or something, when I deleted all my music videos from it, the freezing stopped. I'm getting used to it, though - it is nice to use it at work to listen to music or the occasional (but very rare) podcast. I only listen to two podcasts - The Rock & Roll Geek Show and Destroy Your Radio. But since I didn't bring the pod to work today, NO shuffle for now! They are mostly non electric sets but offer glimpses to unknown artists, and different versions to artists songs by the well known artists.
