Yay for Cintron and AJ. You both swung for the fences instead of doing what was right for the team, thanks for throwing this game away because we haven't scored against Nathan ever.

Actually we have scored off Nathan before. But he has never blown a save against us. We have 1 run off Nathan this year (1.50 ERA), and 1 run off of him before this year (solo home run by Crede.)

you people need to relax... we are down 1 run with our offense and how we have done vs closers this season we definitely have a chance.

We need to make it to the bottom of the inning that way.

Quitting in the eighth inning of a game in August is honestly beyond belief, even for the Chicken Little fans that populate this website.

this attitude is so disgusting and embarrassing.

Yet so absolutely true. Do we have anyone that opposing teams fear anymore? Does anyone come to town and say "Damn, we're going up against tonight! We better bring it!" The answer to that is no, we have absolutely nothing to scare the other teams. Jose? Not a chance. Buehrle? A thing of the past. Freddy or Javy? Gaurenteed 4 runs. Jon might be the only one who teams might not feel so solid against, but even he is due for the occasional blow up. Our hitters swing for the fences, and our manager is doing his best bag of marbles impression. Nothing is clicking right now, nothing. We gain momentum and we give it right back.

This team is so dead, it's not even funny.

Thanks for letting us know how to be a fan. Maybe you can hand out literature at soxfest and get a booth on sox fan dos and donts. You can just cross off the cubs logo on the literature they use, and then write in sox.
