southsideirish71
Joey held a runner. Stop the presses. Ross does what our hitters should do with 2 strikes. He cuts down on his swing a bit, and goes oppo. Nice line drive swing Ross.

Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 29, 2006 -> 10:09 PM) It's kinda funny what happened to our main 3 relievers from the first 3/4 of last season Good job Gload! It's amazing how volatile relievers are. It doesn't make any sense.
That funky motion
QUOTE(fathom @ Aug 29, 2006 -> 10:08 PM) Me too. I might have been his biggest supporter when there were rumors we were interested in him. Anyone else remember that we were concerned he'd choose Tampa over the Sox? I remember when he was on Minny and I hated him, but wanted him on our team.

I'm a huge proponent of trading relievers at their peak value (unless they're a closer).

southsideirish71
The sad thing is the back end of our pen could of used a night off. When your offense scores as many runs as we have tonight, our starters should of been able to come out, our pitchers should of been rested, and we should of been getting ready for tomorrow. This is true. Cotts and Riske let us down tonight. I won't even mention Freddy. It's pretty much a lock that he's going to give up atleast 5 ER.
