The Ginger Kid
well boys, it was fun. You can carry the dead weight of a Javy Vasquez but add to that a brain dead cuban who's supposed to be your ace and it's too much. The pitching wasn't up to the task this year. And no one's to blame but them.
G&T
I don't have much to say tonight except this team is ridiculous. Ozzie is awful. And Jose... Edited September 2, 2006 by G&T
Balta1701
QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 06:20 PM) hey at least Jose's ERA isnt going to suffer with that blast Actually, according to Gameday, all 7 of Jose's runs are now earned. His ERA is up to 4.53. Every one of our starters is now above 4.50 in ERA. Edited September 2, 2006 by Balta1701
Dick Allen
Hawk discussing the lack of intensity. How come its not Ozzie's fault the Sox lack intensity? If Jerry Manuel was managing, it certainly would be blamed on him.

CWSOX45
Wow. This is pure dogs***. I am so f***in pissed that Kansas City continues to beat us around. Was that shot to centerfield catchable? Or did Mack just f*** it up as usual? We need to have our f***ing starters in every game from here on out. God dammit Ozzie. Cintron and Mackowiak should not be playing. southsideirish71
PFB talks about confidence in the post game show, and now Hawk is talking about intesity. Do they get together before the game, and go over the homer report.

Milkman delivers
Back at school, so I can't watch the game. I just checked the score, and; f*** No more checking this score. SoxHawk1980
I didn't like the fact that we signed Contreras to a long-term contract back when he signed it. He's at least 40 years old right now. His best years are behind him. Now he's showing himself to be an old pitcher with a hell of a lot of innings and pitches under his belt. I don't see any reason to expect him to be better next season or the one after that as he gets further and further away from 40.
