The Critic
QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Sep 1, 2006 -> 09:39 PM) A HUGE DEVELOPMENT: JOEY CORA ACTUALLY HELD JD AT THIRD, HE COULD HAVE JOINED THE LONG LIST OF WHITE SOX RUNNERS THROWN OUT BY 40 FEET AT HOME PLATE THIS SEASON. As soon as I saw the ball go through, I assumed Joey was sending JD and I just kept thinking "bobble the ball out there, pleeeeeease" - and then I saw him stop someone and my jaw dropped. And now Joe flied out for out number 2. Crap.

southsideirish71
Ozzie must hate Anderson. Prancer will get to hit in this situation, but our guy hititng 300 over the last few months is incapable to come up here. This is a sign that Ozzie will start Mack in CF in the playoffs. If he cant trust him here against the Royals, what happens in a big game in October.
shoota
This is the game here. We need a big 2-out hit or it's very unlikely the Sox will win.
