CWSGuy406
Cunningham with four BBs? Any way to tell how many of those were intentional?

danman31
Anybody else notice Gartrell in Birmingham? That's one heck of a large jump. Even if it's just for a short period of time, I find it a bit odd.
DBAHO
QUOTE(danman31 @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:20 PM) Anybody else notice Gartrell in Birmingham? That's one heck of a large jump. Even if it's just for a short period of time, I find it a bit odd. Yeah it certainly is. He must have been impressing in rookie ball, and the Sox just decided to see what he can do in B-Ham for a couple of games. I wouldn't think he would be starting there next season though. First inning he over threw to 3rd base and the first run scored. Think the jump was too much!!
Chisoxfn
Nah, usually really late in the minor league season you get guys really thrown around playing in leagues they shoudln't be. The reason for this is teams usually transfer guys around to make sure the playoff teams have the weapons they need to do good (because while it may not matter to a White Sox fan whether our minor league teams win or lose, it does matter to Warthog fans or Knight fans and those affiliates care if we take away all there players and don't somehow try to help them out in some way shape or form when we can).
