What the hell kind of name is Kason anyway? Did someone's finger slip on the keyboard when typing out his birth certificate? They wanted Jason but at that point it was just too late.

Wow. Great pitching for Boston.

Papelbon has shoulder problems so the Sox won't have to face him this series. I'm guessing Ortiz won't be playing either, and maybe Manny too.

This is a considerably weakened Red Sox team.

and yet you know we will lose against the lefty.

you'll hear hawk talk about how "if you have a lefty in the minors with a change up have him pitch against this ball club, because this ball club has trouble against lefty's with a change up. this ballclub is the best fastball hitting ballclub i have ever seen, but they arent as good with changeups. paul konerko is the best fastball hitter i have ever seen. when juan uribe is hot, hes the best hitter i have ever seen. [insert name here] is the best [insert pitch or situation] hitter i have ever seen."

Didn't we struggle against a bunch of crappy pitchers this past week? How will this be any different?

^^^^^^

Exactly. They could throw Coco Crisp out there and he'd be Cy Young.

I still think will lose 2/3. I have no confidence in this team whatsoever. None.

Right now, there are very few teams with less motivation than the White Sox appear to have right now. Teams like K.C. and Tampa are trying to play spoiler, teams like Minnesota and Detroit are pushing for the finish. Boston has even less motivation than the White Sox right now.
