My Dixie Normus
Did anyone see what AJ did to the fans after the catch?
fathom
QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Sep 5, 2006 -> 02:04 AM) would love to know who decided to pitch around Manny there, it threw him off for the next hitter. I think that was the right arm of Bobby Jenks

SinkingShip06
This is just a night when our closer does not have it. Its just not there. These nights are going to happen, but they cant happen now. Not down the stretch. bobby's been amazing all season. no one is 100% lights out. that 1 run shouldn't have mattered tonight. it's the fault of the offenes and ozzie for his bad managing
BearSox
Maybe if were lucky, we'll get to see Ryan Sweeney get an AB, beause we all know Ozzie won't start him in LF, because he is not Ozzie s boy like Pods is.
shoota
AJ eliciting audible laughter from me as he motions that he will give the ball to a Boston fan, but decides to keep it instead. PWned.
SinkingShip06
God I hate watching our O in extra innings. Everyone wants to be the HR hero when a manufactured run is just as good. um, that's every inning

Frankensteiner
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Sep 4, 2006 -> 09:04 PM) Bobby clearly didn't have 'it' tonight. We're lucky to get out of that inning going to extras. We're in a pretty good position with our bullpen, too. McCarthy and Haeger can both throw some innings. I'd bring in Logan, actually, as our next 'high leverage' reliever, ie if we get a chance to save the game. Yeah, Haeger and Logan really warm my heart in extra innings at Fenway. southsideirish71
I wonder if our coaches realize that you when someone spots a fastball low and away, we are basically done.
iguchi=dank
I'm ok with jenks tonight. he let up a run, 3rd blown save, thats fine. Still looked pretty good and basically was told to walk manny prolly. Our offense has got to score more than 2 runs today, so lets sit back and pray we get lucky. CWSGuy406
QUOTE(Frankensteiner @ Sep 5, 2006 -> 02:07 AM) Yeah, Haeger and Logan really warm my heart in extra innings at Fenway. Logan's arguably our best short-outing reliever in our pen right now.

Friend of Nordhagen
Get ready for the Podsednik, Mackowiak, Gload outfield.
chisoxfan79
Game over this os gonna be the worst outfield defense ever
redandwhite
Gload moves to left, Mackowiak in center? That is one poor defensive outfield if the White Sox do not score here, it could come back to bite them.
southsideirish71
QUOTE(redandwhite @ Sep 4, 2006 -> 09:08 PM) Man, AJ that was brutal. Actually we thought that was funny. Then again the adults singing a bad song like Sweet Caroline and doing the wave is more what I would call brutal.
BearSox
Why is ross gload hitting for Anderson? Oh no, Mackowaik in CF, Gload in RF.
WHarris1
Ozzie really thinking ahead about what his OF defense is going to look like... BA coulda grounded out to the pitcher and not fistf***ed our defense... Edited September 5, 2006 by WHarris1

kwolf68
They will likely move Sweeney to the outfield. Even though he came in for Thome, he can still mvoe to the OF and remain in the same position. My guess is Gload will become the DH.
