southsideirish71
QUOTE(beautox @ Sep 4, 2006 -> 07:31 PM) Hes gone and Tejada will be in It doesnt matter who you get, the minute the done the whitesox uni they forget that their is entire field and start with pull monkey s***. Thome for years is a prolific all fields power guy. He is a guy who if you pitch away he will hit it to left field. He comes here, and they immediately start a shift because they realize that he will turn into a pull monkey. AJ, spray hitter his whole career. Now a pull monkey. Uribe, 243 average, and he tells the broadcast team that he is going to homer every game. You come to the sox, you stop being a hitter and become a softball player. You figure out why. Now the twins turn their hitters into tough outs. They preach being a tough out, and using the entire field.

fathom
Keep playing on the warning track Pods. That liner would have been a routine play for Manny.
CWSGuy406
Yeesh -- maybe Pods should play with his back touching the monster... He can't play any deeper than he's playing right now.

SoxFan562004
crap, poor JG, even if he gives up 3-4 runs here I can't blame him for this game, it has to be horrible to pitch for this offense the last few weeks
southsideirish71
Thank God we have Uribe out there for his defense. Maybe if he stops with the 2nd's on pie he would of been able to come up with something that just about all decent defensive SS's get to
CWSGuy406
Don't give up a run, Jon, or else you're getting hung with the 'L' tonight.

Now this is where I have a question on manager consistancy. Ozzie has the pen up, with the game in the 6th and with Garland throwing great. But Freddy pitches like poo, and he is reluctant to get a pitcher up. Maybe Garland should find a relative of Ozzies to poke.
