Rex Hudler
It was the final Barons game of the season in the Southern League and the game was very typical, yet unique at the same time. Both teams had a player play all 9 positions, Michael Myers for the Barons and Jeff Eure for the Stars. Myers threw a scoreless 9th and Eure earned the save for the Stars in the bottom half. Meyers went from SS-2B-LF-RF-CF-C-1B-3B-P. Time of game was 1:58 and both teams were hacking and the umpires were calling strikes. Egbert looked good again, but the Barons offense was just trying to get the game over from the 1st inning, so 1-0 was the final. For example, in the bottom of the 8th inning, three Barons hitters saw a total of 6 pitches, swinging at all 6. They included a fould ball, then two consecutive outs followed by three swings and misses. All in all, great weather, a quick game and two players playing all 9 positions kept it interesting. Gene Honda Civic
Sounds like the Sox game. They had a 3 pitching inning. And followed a leadoff walk by making 3 outs on 3 pitches.

DBAHO
Egbert has only given up 2HR in 29GS so far this season. I don't care who you are, that's very impressive.
