Yup.

I still don't have faith in him at all. I believe he'll fold when he faces a good defense or finds himself having to carry any significant load. This team still is dependent on the defense. It's nice to get turnovers to be able to start in the redzone constantly.

Ok.

Well, I know it makes me less of a fan. Clearly I can't be anywhere near the fan of any Chicago team as someone from, say...wheaton. I just like my team's players to prove themselves for more than a few games against pretty bad teams before I call them great.

The defense, and most of the players on it, have proven themselves many times over the course of years. There are flukes every year in football, and I believe Grossman is one right now.

Mike Vick is playing so f***ing good.

Yeah, took him 5 years and 6 games or so to look like an NFL QB. He's had 2 great games though.

The fact they'll be at home all through the playoffs will help. He's somewhere in between today and Arizona as a QB, just not sure which side he leans towards yet.

This is my luck in fantasy football. My players and the guy I'm playing players are all done, right. I ended up with 125 with would be more than enough points to win any week, except when my opponent ends up with 144!!! @$^%^!@

He Tomlinson and a career game from Colston. I had Reggie Wayne with a big game.

So yeah, if you haven't figured it out yet, Roethlisberger isn't a good QB.

Pretty awesome feat about to happen this year. From Super Bowl to 1st pick in the draft. Atleast Brady Quinn will be available. That or see how much Jacksonville wants for Leftwich.

lol you guys arent getting a new QB :bang

Might have to. Ben is either going to keep playing until he's dead on the field, or until he throws 30 INT's for the year. He's on pace for 28 INT's on the year with 11 through 6 games. The funnest part for him? He still has to face the Baltimore D twice, Carolina, and Denver defenses the rest of the way.

As much as you can argue Grossman, the Bears are tied with an ordinary Minnesota team for first place right now if the defense hadn't bailed out Rex in 2 road games.

EDIT: That would mean Minny would only have 1 loss, so the Bears would be a game back.

But why not count the defense? I mean Minny's defense is the reason they are 4-2 as well.

We're talking about Rex, not the teams. All I know is Rex has yet to win a game for this team, so despite all the numbers, he isn't proven yet at all. And if you want to go to the record part of it, they'd be 7-0 with Brian Griese at QB too, the journeyman Brian Griese. They've won 5 blowouts that the defense dominated, and 2 games the defense made plays in late to win.

So Rex has played 5 good games out of 7?

Yep, against:

Detroit

Green Bay

San Francisco

Buffalo

Seattle

Only 1 on the road (against Green Bay, who is 1-3 up there) and Seattle has shown they aren't all that great as well. Now I know he doesn't make the schedule, but Rex was awful against the only good defense he's played, and even worse at the horrible Cardinals. He's still a question mark, even with the hot start.

God i hate the Colts... Can't wait til the playoffs when they lose so the fans around here can shut the hell up.

What do you have against the Colts? You can hate them for being good I guess, but they are one of the few organizations that do things the right way. They are one of the few organizations that have a team first attitude, and that starts at the top and works its way down to the players. How often do you see Mannings, or Harrison, or Wayne, or anyone else get in trouble or take a me first attitude to the field(like a good majority of the NFL). In regards to the fans, they do have something to be proud of and even brag about a little. They are no worse than any other fans, and I would even go as far as to say that they are pretty humble like the team that they root for. So why do you specifically call out the organization or fans?

On another note, the Bears have probably played one of the weakest schedules in the past couple of years to this point. The have played the only two teams with one win, two more teams with two wins, and only two teams with winning records both with only four wins(one of which was playing without the league MVP). The Bears are certainly a good team, but they have yet to play a good team. These blowout wins are nice, but what happens when they are in a tight game against a good team? Can Grossman and company lead a game winning drive?
