not looking good for Knights

Wow, very interesting. I couldn't imagine the Sox leaving the Knights high and dry calling up Fields so it has to be something else. If we wanted Fields, we could have waited till after the game and went out of the way to bring him up.

Absolutely no reason to call him up before Knights game (thats why I don't think he was called up). Brian Anderson just hammered one and Sizemore just made a ridiciulous catch to almost double up Cintron...WOW.

11 K's? Nice...

On another note, who should we expect to get called up? Fields would be a nice bat off the bench, Owens would be decent for his speed. Other than that, we really don't need anybody. Maybe one of Redding/Tracey/Montero as an extra blowout bullpen arm, but that's it.

Yeah, that will probably be it. Crede might need a couple more days off, and it would give us a chance to see Fields play. And Owens is a good speed option, and it never hurts to have extra bullpen arms.

5-2 Mudhens in the 10th  Jeff Farnsworth gave up a 3 run HR in the 10th

Josh wasn't in the starting line-up due to a bruised thumb.

The Knights just lost :crying 5-2.

Season over.

Darn I was hoping to see a Tucson/Charlotte in the Bricktown Showdown.

That would probably be Lance's best outing for the year considering some of the opposition as well.

Very promising to see indeed.

Don't read too much into it. Toledo lead the league in Ks by more than 100. They prided themselves on swinging for the fences.

His start that was wiped out due to rain was against Toledo also, so he really had 9.2 innings pitched against them this year, with 18K and 3BB, but 4R because they were able to take him deep a couple times.

The club is filled with AAAA power guys with high K totals. Think Dallas McPhereson.
