Well, when Mackowiak inevitably misplays a flyball to CF -- and Buehrle proceeds to implode -- atleast Guillen can assure himself that "sticking with the people we've been with all year" didn't cause panic.

The strategy is not "Stay the course" and no one ever said "Stay the course". We're adapting to win.

Does BA have cooties or something? I mean what in the world did he do to not start tonight's game and last night's game.

BRIAN ANDERSON CANNOT HIT RIGHT HANDERS. BRIAN ANDERSON IS A RIGHTY, AND RIGHT HANDERS CANNOT HIT RIGHT HANDERS EVER. THEREFORE, BRIAN ANDERSON CANNOT HIT RIGHT HANDERS. ONLY ROB MACKOWIAK CAN HIT RIGHT HANDERS.

And Marcus Thames just took a high 0-2 fastball out to left. We're tied at 3.

Anybody think we might actually see Mack in center in a playoff game? (assuming we make it)...

At this rate I would not be surprised if Brian Anderson was left off the playoff roster altogether. Ozzie would probably love to have Willie Harris back for the ALDS and Jerry Owens could fill that role just fine.
