Elim # is 12, we both have 14 left.

It could happen. 9-5 us, 6-8 them. Or 10-4 & 7-7. It's not likely, but I'll hold onto that yet.

I know who they're playing, yes. But the last time they played KC they lost the series 1-2.

But the Sox better get on a fishing run.

Nevermind...

We f***ing suck.

In a sick way, it's great to see Ozzie get embarrassed by Frank Thomas like he did. Ozzie should have just STFU, and focused on screwing this team up on a day-to-day basis.

Joe Crede and Jim Thome: thanks for showing up down the stretch this season.

I think that is well said. Unlike Frank Thomas, who has been huge when it was most important, our hitters were not. I can give Crede some slack because he was big during the stretch last year. Jim Thome on the other hand is the best Spring Training hitter this club has.

Forget the stats, the story is who can be CLUTCH.

Not much pressure for this club remaining.

Just have to sweep Detroit. Not difficult. Oh, and of those three games Verlander and Bonderman are pitching.

Aside from that bit of urgency, it would be helpful if we didn't lose one game the remainder of the year. Especially in Minnesota the last series of the year.

Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world

She took the midnight train goin' anywhere...

Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit

He took the midnight train goin' anywhere...

A singer in a smoky room, the smell of wine and cheap perfume

For a smile they can share the night

It goes on and on and on and on...

Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard

Their shadows searching in the night

Streetlight people, living just to find emotion

Hiding, somewhere in the night

Working hard to get my fill, everybody wants a thrill

Payin' anything to roll the dice, just one more time

Some will win, some will lose

Some were born to sing the blues

Oh, the movie never ends

It goes on and on and on and on

Don't stop believin'

Hold on to the feelin'

Streetlight people

Don't stop believin'

Hold on to the feelin'

Streetlight people

Don't stop believin'

Hold on to the feelin'

Streetlight people

Which two players do this series numbers belong to? Hint -- one player has a base salary of $500,000, another 14million. Another hint --One player has practically carried his team in September, another can barely carry a bat across home plate.
