whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(Steff @ Sep 22, 2006 -> 03:11 PM) Have you like.. missed all 4,384 threads about how this team has "quit" the past 2 weeks? I just can't believe people still aren't over Everett and Rowand yet.
LVSoxFan
Sorry, but watching last night's debacle... don't tell me this team isn't "quitting."
Balance
Heart? Good band from the 70's and 80's. Ann and Nancy Wilson. I loved "Bad Animals." I know, I know. I just wanted to lighten things up a little. I'm as disappointed as anyone here in this season. I agree that it didn't seem like they had the same desire as they did last season. Maybe this will prove to be an attitude adjustment for next season. We can always hope....
SinkingShip06
Sorry, but watching last night's debacle... don't tell me this team isn't "quitting." I think PK is the leader of the Quit Squad
Winning Ugly
Great outing, JC! Can this team sink any lower? Ozzie needs to bench everybody for the kids starting tomorrow. F-- all this.
BigNDfan80
Anybody want to mention that this team hasn't quit? They look like they're rushing to get to the off-season. The Twins dropped the last 2 games and the Sox can't beat a bad Mariner team.
fathom
QUOTE(BigNDfan80 @ Sep 23, 2006 -> 03:45 AM) Anybody want to mention that this team hasn't quit? They look like they're rushing to get to the off-season. The Twins dropped the last 2 games and the Sox can't beat a bad Mariner team. I still wonder if people think that this team deserves a standing ovation on Sunday? I'm sorry, but there's no way I can be convinced that this team is still playing with 100 pct intensity and effort. Joe Crede has had some of the most selfish at-bats I've seen in a long time....and there's been no bigger fan of Joe Crede than myself this season. BigNDfan80
Standing Ovation? They should be booed off the field. The last few weeks is unacceptable.
SoxHawk1980
What a great game! Time for another standing ovation for this team that is rolling over and dying before our very eyes (and has been for far too long).
greg775
No standing O. Just silence as in traipsing up the steps silent after another loss. A standing O would be ridiculous. Last year is so long gone it's unreal.
