Tigers Fan
They need to take care of the Twins in that final series so we can take the Division, beat the A's, let the Twins take care of the yanks, Santana gets tired from pitching twice in that series, we beat the Twins, and then Murder the Mets and then set fire to cars so the whole country can make fun of Detroit again... As if they ever took a break..

GoodAsGould
I dont care about that so no we have nothing to play for... If it was me id start Owens, Fields, Sweeney, Anderson, Stewart rest of the games and let Tracey and Haeger start a game or something. tonyho7476
Unfortunately you won't be setting fire to anything. You'll lose to the A's, the Twins will lose to the Yanks, and the AL Central will be gone like that.
southsider2k5
Hmmm help the Tigers, or get the kids a week of ABs.... boy I wonder what my choice would be...

It's going to be funny when the Tigers' magical season ends. If anyone thinks that boatload of journeymen is going to be this good next season they're nuts. witesoxfan
QUOTE(Hangar18 @ Sep 26, 2006 -> 09:27 AM) We have something to play for ................... 90 Wins the hell with that, all that's doing is putting the Sox in worse draft position. It's one of the few times where I could care less whether the Sox won or lost, because there are good outcomes from either result(so long as everyone stays healthy) Also, just curious, why would the Sox players want to help Detroit? Detroit is kind of the team that kept the White Sox out of the playoffs, so yeahhhhhhhh, um, no
santo=dorf
:rolly: at the "draft position" excuse. The NL teams have already clinched spots 1-20. Lebron James isn't going to fall to us either.

Baines3
We can help spoiler. If we can take care of the Twins that could keep them out of the division title. I would rather see Detroit win the division than Minnesota.

Hangar18
QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Sep 26, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) the tigers are backing into the playoffs. why shouldn't they back into the division title too. Because the SOX didn't feel like winning the division this year, despite the numerous attempts by the Tigers to hand their playoff berth over
