Phuck the Cubs
Man, the Cardinals are poised for a huge collapse. It would be bigger than the 69 Cubs or what the White Sox could have gone thru last year. 8.5 up on Houston just 9 days ago, now only 1 game ATM, w/ Houston winning today. And the Cards are down 8-1 right now in the 4th to the Brewers
Benchwarmerjim
I see they are losing tonight, the Astros already won today. The if hold up, the Cards would have a 1/2 game lead Could we be seeing the biggest collaspe ever?
Phuck the Cubs
Yes. It would b/c they blow 8.5 games in like 10 days. It'd be worse than what the 69 Cubs did are what we could have done last year, b/c of the time period in which this is happening.
Wanne
I still can't believe the Astros coming out of nowhere. They were dead just a month back...and still just a couple games over .500. What a crap division/league.
SoxAce
QUOTE(Wanne @ Sep 28, 2006 -> 09:16 PM) I still can't believe the Astros coming out of nowhere. They have done this for a couple years now.

Flash Tizzle
Scott Spiezio may have saved the Cardinals season. In the 8th inning, Cordero layed a fat pitch with two strikes, two outs, bases loaded and Spiezio cleared the bases with a triple. St. Louis was trailing 2-0 at the time. max power
Too bad the brewers blew a 2 run lead in the 8th.
witesoxfan
QUOTE(max power @ Sep 30, 2006 -> 07:09 PM) Too bad the brewers blew a 2 run lead in the 8th. Go Cards. I grew a large dislike of the Astros come late October of last year. It seemed like they felt as though they were going to roll right through the White Sox. If someone feels that way about someone you know or someone close to you, you get f'in pissed off. Of course, we all know what happened. I still want the Astros to lose today. Baines3
I don't think the Cards will go very far in the N.L.
