Yeah I don't know about this episode, a lot of it's funny, but I begin to feel like the show's getting too absurd.

Well, if you don't like it, you can go to the back of the bus.

How exactly did the show end? My DVR cut short the ending even though it acknowledged teh super sized time slot.

The last thing I saw was Pam opening up and telling Jim she misses having fun with him. As she walks towards the water, Michael said something to the effect "Well I am still looking for sales...."

That's all I got. What did I miss?

"well I am looking for someone with sales experience..."

Jim mugs sheepishly for the camera.

Fade to black.

/wait. Jim told Michael that he was goign to interview for the corporate position as well.

Karen also is interviewing for the position, and they'll give her the position on the show if she gets some other show this off-season.

I got the exact same thing, sounds like it ended right there though. Phew.

You also missed the last clip they played after the credits. It was back on the bus and the entire office was singing the Flinstones theme song. It was pretty hilarious because everyone forgot the 2nd or 3rd verse so Michael just started imitating the music.

I thought it was a pretty funny episode. Cracked me up when Andy fell into the water with his suit and floated away. "What? I can't understand what you're saying." "Just look at what I'm doing now and tell someone what you see." "Sorry Andy, I don't understand..."

I was also glad to see Pam step up and tell Jim how she felt. If only she had done this a year ago...

Jim: "Oh my god, I have never seen that look in a man’s eyes … ever. I thought that I might die. On beach day."

Quality episode. Loved the sumo scenes. Although, I must say that it loses some points simply for having Pam tell us that she was wearing a two-piece, and never blessing us with the sight of Pam in a two-piece. I feel like Toby now.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/14/t...n.ap/index.html

With "Heroes" its only new hit of the season, struggling NBC announced a fall schedule Monday that includes a spinoff and three other dramas also trading on supernatural themes.

The network took a risk by keeping its Thursday night comedy lineup intact. NBC has drawn strong critical praise but few viewers for shows like "30 Rock" and "The Office," leaving the network faltering on a night it once dominated

I dont get this. Not at all.

I watched last weeks on TiVo and then the finale tonight. They both were great, however, I have to say the ending with Ryan I did not like very much. I can't say why, coming off the Jim and Pam last scene, I thought having a minor character have such a potential jump seemed off. I guess the show has had such good timing and pace, and that ending seemed odd and a stumble.

Since it was the extra thing, maybe it turns out he got another job at corperate headquarters, but not Jan's job.

The ending was fine, good show. They sort of hinted towards Ryan being picked when he said he wouldn't go get a cup of coffee for Michael.

Of course that didnt occur to me until he was chosen at the end.
