thedoctor
QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ May 4, 2007 -> 08:18 PM) BREAKING NEWS!!! LOST to end in 2009. Plus much more... http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/deta...4e-b11e4b6a1259 2009 sounds about right to me, but who knows how deep they're going to take the story. i'd also read in a few places that they considered/or are considering doing a lost movie, a la x-files. southsider2k5
Two more years would put it two years short of the originally planned seven correct? I wouldn't be happy to see it happen, but this is the type of show you can't drag out for rating sake. Its not a like Sitcom where you can try different things. I would much rather have it end too soon, versus too late.
RibbieRubarb
This just in... Only 52 episodes of LOST left!!! Lost will run three more seasons after the one that concludes this month. Each of the final three seasons will only contain 16 episodes, instead of the 23 or 24 produced for the first three seasons. The 16-episode seasons will run without repeats. http://www.variety.com/article/VR111796437...mp;cs=1&p=0 Sounds like a compromise between Producers and ABC. Less episodes per year so things aren't dragged out.(Remember they wanted to end it in 2009) and ABC get an extra year of Ad revenue. Jenksismyhero
QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ May 3, 2007 -> 11:31 AM) The pregnancy death thing I find odd....Why didn't Rousseau and Alex die? Ben is the father and has never been off of the island?????? So being the ubber-Lost nerds that we are, my gf and I downloaded some of the Lost podcasts and listened to them on a drive down to Champaign. They're 30 minutes long, hosted by the two executive producers. They give little tidbits about the show and hows its made, answer questions from viewers (which often coincide with questions you have), squash a lot of ridiculous theory's and sometimes give you hints about important things to remember and things to look forward to. Anyways, about the comment about Ben never being off the island. In one of the podcasts someone had asked about this, whether Ben had ever been off the island. They made it a point to say that Ben was born on the island. He wasn't necessarily conceived there. I think that'll be an important fact later on. I was thinking that maybe Ben is the leader because he was one of a few who had actually be born there (his mother didn't die in pregnancy). juddling
I think the show ends with the Harlem Globetrotters showing up on the island and rescuing the remaining losties...but not before Curly Neal takes on Hurley in a game of ping-pong.

I must say that I'd rather have two seasons of 24 episodes, but whatever. I'm just really excited for everything to be revealed. southsider2k5
I'd still prefer the Scooby Doo ending with Phyillis Diller as the smoke monster who would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those pesky kids.

I want the ending where Sawyer can't say goodbye to Jack. Sawyer departs on a motorcycle without saying anything to Jack and as Jack leaves the island in a helicopter he peers down and sees "Goodbye" written in sandbags by Sawyer on the beach. Jenksismyhero
http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20038202,00.html Ridiculous. I cannot wait for tonight. And the finale is going to be nuts.
Harry Chappas
Tonight's episode will continue to take the show in a new direction and begin the process of blowing your doors off which will occur in these last episodes. The LostSpolier website doesn't even give it all away as it usually does. Sounds like another keeper.
chimpy2121
Wow, I did not see that ending coming.
Kyyle23
I refuse to believe Locke is done. The guy has beaten too many odds. Ben was a cold blooded MOFO. Its interesting that the Van driver was Bens dad.
RibbieRubarb
Now that's AN ENDING!!!! So, now the new questions arise: If the Dharma group was killed...who are the "natives"? Are they just a group of scientists? I think Ben did what he did because the people started to look to Locke like they did to Ben when he was younger. A special person who can communicate with the island.
Kyyle23
Jacob just became interesting as well. I thought it was a show that Ben was putting on like Locke did, but Locke saw Jacob for a second and it freaked him out. I wonder if it is the spirit of one of the Dharma Initiative(maybe the guy whose eyes were closed by Ben?)

chimpy2121
I knew I thought I saw him. Thanks for the screen shot. Whats the name of the guy that brought Ben and his dad to the island, the guy who was in the car when Ben's mom died?

StrangeSox
I can't fully comprehend what happened in tonight's episode. After being sort of mediocre for the first set, and then stumbling out of the gate in January, Lost has really come back full-force.
BobDylan
QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ May 9, 2007 -> 11:35 PM) Hmmm "Help me".....Locke gets shot Jacob is Locke. That's my feeling now. Or something of the sort. There is no doubt in my mind that Jacob is real. I highly doubt Locke is dead, either. Ben just had to kill Locke off as he was losing his grasp as leader of the others, or hostiles or the natives or whoever the f*** they are. But he ain't dead. Not by a long shot.
