Brian
Just realized the wife of the coach on Friday Night Lights was the tall lady on Spin City. She looks good.
Soxy
I started watching Bravo's reruns of Six Feet Under (never seen that show before) and, wow! It's great. I am absolutely addicted to that show now.
RockRaines
Weeds is probably one of the funniest shows on TV at times. Good show.

juddling
A small article in today's Sun-Times says that Scrubs will be back on the air Thursdays starting Nov. 30th. It's about damn time.
Brian
QUOTE(juddling @ Oct 26, 2006 -> 04:00 PM) A small article in today's Sun-Times says that Scrubs will be back on the air Thursdays starting Nov. 30th. It's about damn time. I watch it every night in syndication. That is how I discover good shows these days.

greasywheels121
That second clip in that of the Poison dance has been viewed several times over here. This year, Scrubs has reached Seinfeld status on my TV.
Yoda
Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia is a show I'm anticipated to seeing ever since last month. They air 2 episodes on FX every Sunday night and I haven't seen one episode I disliked.

Brian
QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 06:47 AM) How many episodes do you give a show before giving up? Usually for me it is 3 or 4.
southsider2k5
QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 06:47 AM) How many episodes do you give a show before giving up? A new show might not even get one episode. I would reconsider if I hear things from people who have similar tastes whom I trust, but I don't give much of a chance. Brian
I don't know too much about politics, but that Stewart/Colbert special last night was hilarious. Especially Colberts rant at the end. "You made your bed America, now roll over so a gay married couple can sleep in it."

sox4lifeinPA
any "The Nine" fans here? I watched one episode so far (have to go back and watch epi's 1 & 2)... so far I'm not that impressed, but I'll invest time in 3-4 more episodes. The bank robbers seemed to be know it alls, but totally blow it on the execution of the robbery. Of course it's a tv show so everything is completely amped for the drama and story. the typical bank robbery lasts 45 seconds and the robbery gets ~$2500. My bank robbery lasted about 60-90 seconds. The guy was quick, smart, arrogant, and caught in 6 months.
sox4lifeinPA
did i mention that a bank would never hire two sisters to work in the same office? sorry.
sox4lifeinPA
Ok, you have to watch the first episode to care about any of these people. I like the show pretty well now, I can especially relate to the group meeting at the end of the episode. That was the most moving part. Brian
i watched the first 3 or 4 episodes and got frustrated iwth the lack of info about the heist and the pace of the show so I stopped. Commercials like every 6 minutes as well.
