NUKE_CLEVELAND
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Oct 15, 2006 -> 02:37 PM) So clever. How do you do it, Nuke? Just so freakin' intelligent. An oldie but a goodie. So fitting for someone who vanishes whenever the chips are down like he does.

His hard earned rep of disappearing when it counts will be aided big time by that series, despite what he did against Minnesota. QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 12, 2006 -> 07:42 AM) I'm sure Thome is enjoying his morning tee times.. So is Frank. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 12, 2006 -> 01:09 AM) What part of what I said is inaccurate? Check the numbers sir, Thome was better in every offensive category, so no matter how much the Frank boners don't like it, he was a better player than Frank this year. whitesoxfan101
QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 15, 2006 -> 07:48 PM) That Thome was brought up, ONCE again, for no reason. Trust me, I know who had the better season. I'm not sure how constantly bringing up ex players who we replaced with better players is relevant either. And your "hard-earned" rep of being a complete and utter bonehead around these parts will be aided by this post.

Huh? Frank has choked in every postseason series of his life except the Minny series with Oakland. That's simply proven fact.

Hmm, ok, fine then. He's still a damn choker overall though, but then again, Thome looked like one too this September. And Frank's 1 for 7 in the last 2 losses to send us home didn't help either in 1993. Edited October 16, 2006 by whitesoxfan101
GoodAsGould
He played poorly but the A's wouldnt even of been there if not for Frank. What they should be more concerned about is the fact that Chavez had such a terrible season offensively.
