For all the coverage initial reports received, no one would have guessed the planes pilot was someone famous such as Lidle. When I heard he died earlier from an aviation crash, the thought didn't even cross my mind of it somehow being connected to the accident in Manhattan. If anyone has browsed the National Transportation Safey Board's website, there are literally hundreds of small aircraft crashes every month.
