Palehosefan
No suprise, UNC loses again. Roy has been mailing it in for a while now. He figures he has recruited enough talent that it will take care of itself and he can stand on the sidelines and clap and horde his timeouts like they are his f-ing cokes. Soxbadger
Washington State up 23-22 against UCLA. Little Dick Bennet has Washington State playing some Badger Basketball circa 1999. That point total is something to tip your hat to.

ZoomSlowik
UCLA pulled it out. They tried to blow it after leading by 10, but WSU just couldn't score enough. UCLA looked pretty solid outside of some awful outside shooting. UNC is starting to give me a 2005-UConn vibe. They have a ridiculous amount of talent, but they don't play enough defense and make sloppy mistakes somewhat regularly. I generally like to go with the talent when filling out my bracket, but I just don't know about them...
Kyyle23
If you hate Dukie V, and I know most of you do, then you might want to check out the audio links on this site of Vitale on a radio show: http://loserwithsocks.wordpress.com/2007/0...ps-and-oh-s***/ Apparantly Vitale was coming on a radio show called The Sports Animal and when the hosts came to him, he had a different phone in the other ear and he was talking smack about Florida and Joakim Noah because he didnt know that the show hosts were talking to him yet. The first audio link has the slip-up.

I guess it depends if it was truly live or if it was tape delayed. Either way, Dukie V should be a little more aware of who is on the phone in one hand and the who is on the phone in the other. Jimbo's Drinker
This is really funny impression of Coach Self, Altman and Rat Face. Nick Bahe former KU player, current Creighton player. around the 2 minute mark are the impressions.

Palehosefan
That would be a good bracket, UNC would at least make the Sweet 16 before getting beaten by Georgetown or Butler. That is unless of course the Wizard of Oz gives Roy a brain and the team a heart, he could even throw in some courage for me to believe in the team again. Soxbadger
How come Kansas fans still cant understand that regardless of whether they get a 1 or 2 seed that Kansas has a 90% chance of coming to Chicago. It has nothing to do with the seeding or bracket name, and everything to do with protected seeds, pods, etc. SIU at a 3, which is what I was saying in the MVC tournament thread. And since Wisconsin has the play in game does that mean Lunardi has them as the #1, 1?

Soxbadger
Well KU is also a 1 and at Chicago on the bracket, so would it atleast mean Wisconsin is considered a higher 1? All these changes to the bracket rules make it difficult to keep up with.
Jimbo's Drinker
I understand we will be in chicago, my seat have been purchased. I think i would just rather go to St. Louis than San Jose.
Soxbadger
Well Jimbo thats the $64,000 question, who of KU, OSU, and Wisconsin will get the STL bracket. I believe that the Midwest 1 is as follows. 1. OSU, if they dont lose to Michigan and win the BTT they are the 1 midwest. 2. Wisconsin, if they dont lose to MSU, and win the BTT they are the 1 midwest. 3. KU, if they win out, win the B 12 tournament, and both Wisconsin/OSU lose KU will be the midwest 1. KU has some what of a screw job because eventhough its in the midwest, its part of the Big 12 which has a large base in Texas. Comparitively, Big 10 has 0 connection to the South, so even if it gets 2 1 seeds, they will almost 100% be going to the East and Midwest. UCLA has the West seed in the bag after yesterday's win.
