To be fair you don't know what is better to have. Weber coached Self's recruits to a national title game. Weber only made the 2nd round last year and isn't looking great talent wise this year. This year will be a telling tale for Weber because it's almost all his recruits.

People in IL are saying its a "rebuilding year." Well the only reason it is that, is because Weber cant bring in the same talent level as he inherited. I do not plan on seeing U of I in the national title picture for several more years, unless he gets lucky.

And it's clear on what is better to have.

Not sure who you meant.

New ESPN/USA Today rankings are out and can be seen here. I'll wait for someone else to format it properly, but Ohio State is their new number one, followed by UCLA, Pitt, Florida, and Kansas. Marquette cracks the top ten at number nine, while Wisconsin falls to 13. Butler's in at #18, and Wichita State is there at 22. U of I is right on the Top 25 cusp (they'll certainly be in with a W over Maryland), receiving the most votes for a non-Top 25 team, and I'm surprised that the Salukis aren't being respected yet, only getting a couple of votes.

Yeesh. No respect for the Dawgs. We're going to have to have to run the rest of our OOC sched to make it to the top 25 me thinks. I can't believe we got a whole 2 votes in the ESPN poll, very interesting.

EDIT: And where the hell is Missouri State in the ESPN poll, NO VOTES?!? They beat Wisconsin and lose to a pretty good Okie State team in OT and they get no votes? Man, the more I think the Valley proves itself, the less it seems to get respected.

UCLA is my number one, but I'm surprised at the difference in the polls, notably at the bottom. Missouri State gets no votes in one poll and is almost ranked in the other. Virginia is ranked in the AP but gets one vote in the ESPN. I have to agree with the AP poll more this time around. How can LSU be so much higher than Wichita State in both polls? Wichita State won in LSU and is undefeated. I guess it's irrelevant anyway at this time of year.

OSU can really shoot 3's, which is what UNC struggles with the most defending. I fully expect OSU to go off against UNC and make it a great game at the very least.

With Oden, I would say OSu would win this game, without the big presence, I would say I am confident, but they may not be ready for the tarheels.
