fathom
I don't know if this is old news, but NBC News reported tonight that the Sox beat the Cubs in TV ratings for the first time in two decades.

RME JICO
That is good news, but not surprising. Who in their right mind would watch that disaster of a team.

shipps
One thing I can give credit to alot the the Cub fans that iam in contact with is that they were disgusted with the whole organization this year. And most of them had accepted the fact that their team was a disgrace. In years past they didnt care, they only had cared about what the Cubs did that day. This year they seen the bigger picture and the road that the Cubs are going on for maybe the next 5 to 10 years. Rex Kickass
Well, when you taste success but don't fully reach it.... and when your crosstown rival gets the trophy you've wanted for almost 100 years... suddenly ivy on the walls doesn't seem as important as being competitive. GreatScott82
Its a White Sox town again. Thats what happens when you win a world series title for the first time in 88 years and you also win back to back 90 game seasons. We were the first to get on top. Can you guys imagine if we win another one before the Cubs get theres?!? Wow I think all Cubs fans would be on suicide watch... Next year will be year 99 how sad will it be if they reach 100 seasons without the title?!?
