DrunkBomber
I couldnt picture Duncan lying about something like this but it also seems pretty far fetched that a ref would be that dumb. It is pretty funny that he got launched for laughing though.

SoxAce
QUOTE(Jimbo @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 12:41 PM) go everyone who plays NY down the stretch. Well, they lost to the Nets tonight. Were chasing 50 wins and it looks like the Knicks are chasing 50 losses.

Balta1701
The NBA has suspended referee Joey Crawford indefinitely after his confrontation last weekend with Tim Duncan. He is at least gone for the playoffs, possibly longer.
Dick Allen
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 12:50 PM) The NBA has suspended referee Joey Crawford indefinitely after his confrontation last weekend with Tim Duncan. He is at least gone for the playoffs, possibly longer. This is a great move by Stern. Crawford is a good ref, but he's as miserable as his brother Jerry, the MLB umpire. He had no reason to throw Duncan out the game, and challenging him to a fight is beyond ridiculous.
GoodAsGould
Supposedly Crawford has stated he is done being a ref for the NBA now, he still feels that he was in the right.
WilliamTell
I'm shocked to hear suspended indefinately but I applaud Stern for siding with the player on this case.
SoxAce
God damn there are soooo many important games today with most being the final game of the season for alot of teams. I can't remember a season where there were as many vidal games down to the wire as I do this season.
Jordan4life_2007
Bulls down 15 with about two minutes left in the first quarter. I had a feeling this was going to happen. Tonight is essentially a playoff game. This team hasn't shown they can win a must-win game yet. Edit: The Bucks are giving the Cavs all they can handle right now. Tied at 46 with less than two minutes to go in the first half. I don't think they'll be able to keep it up. MHizzle85
Well the bulls have another one of their moments, so we're stuck playing Miami...let's hope Wade doesn't pull out his superman cape.

WHarris1
What a piece of s*** performance. Have fun losing to the Heat again. Knicks winning f***ing hurts a lot more than people realize too.
Chisoxfn
If the Bulls are good they should be able to go through Miami and anyone else in the East. They had a pretty damn good season considering the injuries and everything else and it just so happened the Cavs picked up one more win. Big Whoop. The real season starts on Saturday. SoxAce
So Knicks win, Seattle is losing very big, Minnesota lost, and the Kings lost. The Blazers will also probably lose. Just a s***ty night as far as our bulls is concerned playoff wise and lottery wise.

Sure they are both good teams, but they can be beat and the Bulls have beaten them both this season. If they show up and play good Chicago Bull basketball, this team is capable of knocking out both of those squads.
Jimbo's Drinker
what spot are the bulls in the lottery?
ChWRoCk2
QUOTE(Jimbo @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 11:10 PM) what spot are the bulls in the lottery? 9th I believe, if knicks would have lost prolly be seventh. Still theres alot of talent in this draft, I just want Hibbert so Im not overly upset about this. Bulls can beat the Heat, they handled them well last year but then blew it that one game Wade was injured. Wade isnt at full health so if we can keep him in check and somehow stop Shaq we should be alright. Its alot to ask for but its the playoffs. In other news Golden State looks to be in the playoffs, facing Dallas first round that could be a very interesting matchup, they beat Dallas every game this year. SoxFan1
Hopefully this loss wakes people up and some start to realize that Ben Gordon is not the great player everyone makes him out to be. And now, hopefully Skiles realizes that Wallace should not be playing 25 minutes in a playoff-like game. Oh, and I'd much rather face Miami than Toronto or New Jersey. But best case would have been facing the Wiz. Edited April 19, 2007 by SoxFan1
CWSGuy406
QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 05:13 AM) Hopefully this loss wakes people up and some start to realize that Ben Gordon is not the great player everyone makes him out to be. And now, hopefully Skiles realizes that Wallace should not be playing 25 minutes in a playoff-like game. Forgive me for saying so, but I almost liked the 'injury' line-up better, ie the quicker group that featured lots of Thabo and TT. I'm really surprised how much time Duhon was given to guard Carter tonight. It seemed like Carter was manhandling Duhon all night. The parts I saw tonight were very ugly; a lot of quick possessions with bad jump shots; a lot of ugly jump shots; not a lot of defense; too many offensive rebounds for NJ. Here's where Ben Wallace is going to earn that $15 million the Bulls are paying him. He can't lay an egg against Shaq.

Here's where Ben Wallace is going to earn that $15 million the Bulls are paying him. He can't lay an egg against Shaq. I agree as far as who to guard Carter. When Deng was on him, he was held quiet. But whenever he had a guard on him, he was able to take over. Duhon, Kirk, Ben...none of them could do anything. And I'm a bit disappointed that Skiles didn't let Thabo guard Vince at all. Before he becomes a better player, Thabo will have to ear his stripes by guarding the oppositions best guard, like Bruce Bowen has had to do, but with a much further upside offensively. Overall, it was a poorly coached game by Skiles, I think everyone can agree on that. But I will say this: if Wallace is only playing 25 minutes a game against Miami, well, expect another early exit by the Bulls. This game made me dislike Tyrus Thomas and PJ Brown that much more.
