Balta1701
QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jun 14, 2007 -> 08:58 PM) congratulations to the SA spurs, 4 titles in 9 years=dynasty Is 4 titles in 9 years really a Dynasty to you guys? I mean, at least to me, during the same time the Spurs picked up those 4, the Lakers picked up 3 and lost in another finals. Shaq has picked up as many rings in the last 9 years as Duncan. I'm not sure I'm convinced by this one.

I think people just want to throw around the word dynasty as of late. It's kind of hard to come up with a definition for a sports dynasty but I just can't see the Spurs as one. They're obviously a tremendous team and Duncan might just be the best player of our generation but a dynasty they are not, imo. Congrats though to SA, that team is just always around the championship picture, it's pretty crazy.
Brian
My buddy is from San Antonio and a big Spurs fan. I told him a dynasty has to at least win back to back titles during the stretch and the shortened season is another knock. Sorry, Spurs. No dynasty for you! SoxAce
I hate and am jealous of Tony Parker. Wins a championship, wins an MVP, is gonna marry one of the most beautiful woman in the world and has, IMO, the sexiest accent (French) you can get. Not to mention does alittle rap flow on the side and plays my personal favorite position in the NBA. (PG) You Son-Of-A-b****.

Jordan4life_2007
These were the worst playoffs/finals in years. GS upsetting Dallas was nice. After that, pure vomit. Edited June 15, 2007 by Jordan4life_2007

GoodAsGould
I think Spurs win pretty easily both ways, maybe Detroit would of made it 5 or even 6 but I still think it would be pretty one-sided and obvious from the get go who would win.

I don't know. Spurs didn't exactly impress anyone with the exception of Tony Parker's play. Detroit may have been able to contain him a tad more. Of course we would of had games with final scores like 65-60.

Tony Parker was the only one that stood out to me the entire series. The Spurs didn't blow me away with their play at all. If Cleveland could of hit an open shot or two, they would of won the last two.
