matt
My St. Rita Mustangs are in good standing right now with a high seed in 7A and what should be a convincing win in the first round. How does your team look and what are your predicted final four for your class or any of the higher classes (5A, 6A, 7A, 8A)? Milkman delivers
I heard Rita is ranked like 13th in the nation. That's nice. But, they surely won't win a state title. Kuska still runs that team.
Brian
Warren got hosed. =( They had the second highest amount of playoff points but were 4-5. East St. Louis is probably the favorite for 7A. Lincoln Way East has been #1 most of the year bit have trouble scoring and really don't have a QB, so 8A will be interesting. Maine South could return to state finals after starting 0-2. Rowand44
I haven't seen a game of high school football this year so I'll just assume that Stevenson will win 8A.
He_Gawn
Warren Central is now number 1 in the nation according to Max Preps.

Brian
QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 22, 2006 -> 12:59 PM) I haven't seen a game of high school football this year so I'll just assume that Stevenson will win 8A. Um...No. Lake Zurich rolled over Stevenson this past week, 35-7, and now both Stevenson's losses are to 7A teams in Lake Zurich and Libertyville. Brian
QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 23, 2006 -> 09:21 AM) New Trier versus Loyola. Shall be a barn burner. Saw New Trier twice this year. Not that impressed. They can't pass for crap but have two good runners in Spellman and Brigandi.

Sonik22
Lake Zurich represent! We are way to talented this year not to take this to state, but we should be dangrous next year also cause my junior class is stacked!
Brian
QUOTE(Sonik22 @ Oct 24, 2006 -> 06:00 PM) Lake Zurich represent! We are way to talented this year not to take this to state, but we should be dangrous next year also cause my junior class is stacked! Carmel vs. Lake Zurich should be awesome if it happens. I think LZ will be able to beat em and than set up a rematch with Libertyville for the right to lose to East St. Louis in the state finals. Exactly. Frahler is a tall QB and has a decent arm but not entirely accurate, but New Trier will go as far as Spellman and Brigandi carry them. Two very good backs.
