Drew
Podsednik = F The stolen base project due by finals week was a third of his grade.
shipps
These grades are not very impressive ,you probably should have thought about them a bit more before you let everybody know. But atleast you have put forth more effort in typing than I have. CWSOX45
You guys are way too specific when it comes to these. Here are my grades: The 2006 Roster: F That's right. Baseball is a team game, they all didn't get it done, they didn't make the post-season...they all get F's.

fathom
No way AJP gets anything above a C this year. His defense/pitch-calling was mediocre.
Baines3
I wouldn't give the 2006 White Sox a F as we didn't finish in last place. I would give a D+ mainly because we were doing pretty good the first half of the season prior to the 2nd half flop. Hopefully we can get things in order for 2007. NorthSideSox72
I don't get the low grades you guys are giving for some of the bullpen guys (MacDougal and Thornton were pretty darn good), and the bench (who mostly did quite well). So here are my bullpen and bench grades... Jenks B- MacDougal B Thornton B+ Riske C- Cotts D- McCarthy C*** (I think some of his failures were due to his being in the bullpen at all) Ozuna B+ Gload A- Cintron B Mack B*** (you cannot blame him for being put in CF every third game - that's on Ozzie) Alomar D+ (would be an F, if not for his work with the staff)
santo=dorf
Our bullpen is very underrated by our own fans. McCarthy sucked, but he wasn't a complete failure. Cotts did have some good stretches early on. MacDougall was very good, Thornton led the team in ERA and pretty much all of his hits were shattered bat bloopers, and Riske was a good pickup as well. Jenks -A McCarthy-C- Cotts-D Riske-B- Thornton-B+ MacDougall-B+ Nelson-F Politte-F Hermanson-N/A Haeger-B Tracey-N/A

greg775
I don't know why you'd say AJ doesn't deserve better than a C. Look around baseball. There aren't many better hitters at the catcher position. I don't know his stolen base stats as to how well he threw guys out. Is he still respectable there? Anybody know? But judging from some of his key bombs which should have sparked this team big time but didn't, I think he deserves the A minus; B plus type grade. My bullpen grades were basically Cs. I thought Jenks deserved an A because of his great save totals. Those other guys I thought were average at best. I guess MacD mighta deserved a B- in my mind but not much better than that. Heads22
I can't believe I'm saying this, but some of you are being a little easy on BA. If you're looking at his season as a whole, as this is, and not grading on future ability, he doesn't deserve much above a D.
