santo=dorf
Carmen said he was told two seats would remain blue and have plaques installed on them. The seat where Konerko WS grand slam landed, and Pods' walk off homer. It will be similar to the Red Sox's red seat with Ted Williams. jackie hayes
Well, will the plaques be green at least?
SnB
i think that's awesome. putting a little history into our park.
whitesoxfan101
That is SPECTACULAR!!! I'll have to show up early for the first game I go to and get some pics with those seats. Great, great idea....kudos to Brooks.
Flash Tizzle
I was about to say -- judging from the title alone-- if they don't have those damn green seats completely installed by next seasons first game, then the construction companies involved deserve to be fired. I like the idea of seats commemorating Konerko and Podsednik's respective HR's. Hopefully, Podsednik will have to view it as a visitor or on television. 3 BeWareTheNewSox 5
Very pimp! Those two HRs immediately came to my mind when hearing Rooney say a week ago that the highlight of his broadcasting career was calling a Pujols WS HR. As as I was, was great to relive those HRs again

AssHatSoxFan
when we demanded green seats we wanted every single seat green; way to fubar this whole plan this is going to be an even bigger eyesore sounds like a great idea but can we maybe get something done for wherever borchard's 500 footer landed
GreatScott82
thats kick ass!! ya see Pods, even though we were all over you in 2006, you will always be a legend on the south side! Kind of like un-sung hero Geoff Blum lol
southsider2k5
Cool idea. They should also make a spot for Borchard's longest HR in the history of the park.

knightni
http://www.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/scripts/medi...lstr=&murl= That Thome homer there was huuuge. It hit the concourse aisle sign on one bounce. That seemed longer than Borchard's.

AbeFroman
on a slightly related note: Anyone see the X on the third level seat in Citizens Bank Ballpark in Philly that Ryan Howard hit the home run to? Thats a big damn home run....

MattZakrowski
If the Astros don't want to have to commemorate our greatness, they should have won the World Series
