Reading the conviction with which he writes about this stuff, I tend toward giving him the benefit of the doubt about his porn bust situation. Someone who ADMITTED to viewing CHILD PORN, PAYING for it, LYING about it, the AGREEING to register as a sex offender rather than defening himself IF he was innocent... :rolleyes. There was a time when I tried to dig up as much information about the allegations as I could, and the one tid bit that caught my attention time and time again: He never actually downloaded a single image. Now, I'm a huge Who fan, so of course I'm gonna try to find ways to let Pete off the hook. I'd put him down as one of my classic rock heroes along with John Lennon, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Alan Wilson, etc. However, if information came out that he was downloading pornographic images, videos, etc, then I'd never be able to think about Who songs in the same vein. I can't defend the credit card thing, and I can't blame Steff for making definitive assessments based on that information. It's reasonable to assume that Pete likes him some kiddie porn, but then again, it's reasonable to assume that he got a raw deal just based on the fact that he never actually downloaded anything. At that point he stopped and did not download the image, at least that is what was reported. It appears at that point he was destined to be listed on England's much stricter list, no matter if convicted or not. It doesn't appear that anyone has caught him lying about it.
