Rex Kickass
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/nation/...al-oreilly.html TOPEKA, Kan. – An abortion doctor plans to ask for an investigation of the state attorney general and Bill O'Reilly over comments by the Fox television host that he got information from Kansas abortion records, the doctor's attorneys said Saturday. Dr. George Tiller said he will ask the Kansas Supreme Court on Monday to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate and take possession of the records of 90 patients from two clinics. Attorney General Phill Kline obtained the records recently after a two-year battle that prompted privacy concerns. He has said he sought the records to review them for evidence of possible crimes including rape and illegal abortions. During a Friday night broadcast of “The O'Reilly Factor,” the conservative host said a “source inside” told the show that Tiller performs late-term abortions when a patient is depressed, which O'Reilly deemed “executing babies.” O'Reilly also said his show has evidence that Tiller's clinic and another unnamed clinic have broken Kansas law by failing to report potential rapes with victims ages 10 to 15. EvilMonkey
QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Nov 7, 2006 -> 12:25 AM) http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/nation/...al-oreilly.html If the allegations of rapes and illegal abortions aretrue, they shouldbe hailed as whistleblowers, exposing the rampant corruptionin the abortion industry! If therewas a half-green, I would put it in that. But seriously, if there is wrongdoing exposed here, how is that different from someone exposing national secrets to a newspaperand being thought of as a hero? LowerCaseRepublican
If (and this is a big if, given O'Reilly's typically lazy brand of "journalism" -- if we want to use the J word in reference to O'Reilly's body of work) this is true, then this is good whistleblowing. If it is not true and just more allegations to play the pro-lifers (and likewise the pro-choicers) like a cheap fiddle at the polls for election ballots towards a certain candidate and drub up ratings...well, I wouldn't put that past O'Reilly. Balta1701
Guess who else lost yesterday. (And I mean directly lost, not like the O'Reilly indirectly losing because his party lost Congress way)
