sox4lifeinPA
anyone use their services?? not me, I'm getting a better rate somewhere else. Just curious, because they've blown up the banking industry in the last 1-2 years.
3E8
I use www.emigrantdirect.com and very much enjoy the 5.05% APY I'm getting. Not bad for a savings account.
sox4lifeinPA
QUOTE(3E8 @ Nov 13, 2006 -> 11:44 PM) I use www.emigrantdirect.com and very much enjoy the 5.05% APY I'm getting. Not bad for a savings account. very nice. I have 5.00% on my checking (3.00% after the new year) and 4.65% on my savings... univest.net it's amazing to see these products pop up. Even traditional banks (brick and mortar) are getting in on the action. Interestingly enough, it's mostly to retain what they're losing, but there are untapped markets beyond the typical service area of any given bank, that these banks now see as viable. it's great news for the consumer. Chisoxfn
Ya, I use ING and am getting just over 5% on my savings. I still don't exactly know how cause I get a higher rate than a lot of my friends that use ING.

southsider2k5
Paypal is paying over 5% as well. BTW, NEVER EVER use National City. They are the worst bank ever. Ask me how they tried to ruin Madison's first birthday party... if you dare.
Texsox
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 14, 2006 -> 07:42 AM) Paypal is paying over 5% as well. BTW, NEVER EVER use National City. They are the worst bank ever. Ask me how they tried to ruin Madison's first birthday party... if you dare. I looked it up instead: Ang gives SS2k5 the task of making a reservation at Cheesy Charlie's (a parody of Chuck E. Cheese's) for Madison's birthday party. SS loses the reservation but he promises Ang that he will plan a much better party than they could have had at the pizza parlor. Madison begins to suspect that her "birthday party" is actually a secret plot to force her back into the womb from which she finally escaped a year ago and, as a result, decides to find and kill the "man in white" (the doctor who delivered her) to prevent this from happening. aboz56
I use ING and while the rate isn't as high on the savings as other places, their service and security are worth it to me.
