Texsox
What's being said in Chicago? I've heard everything from nasty broken leg to life threatening.
bjmarte
What I've heard is career threatening, not life threatening.
southsider2k5
The ONLY thing I have heard is that his dad said something about him facing 4 hours of surgery.
Chisoxfn
I just saw a small blurb about it in one of the back pages of the LA times. I hope he's alright.
Bmr31
From what i have read it sounds much more serious than a broken leg. I sure hope not.

1549
According to Jay Mariotti's article on the subject, Williams faces numerous leg breaks and a broken pelvis, and after the crash witnesses heard him yelling 'I can't feel my legs'. I didn't hear anything about life threatening though. He is damn lucky that he still has his life and his limbs. It seems that Bike accidents have cost a lot of legs. 1549
Thats a horrible story. It definitely makes my self pity seem meaningless. I can not imagine what he must be thinking right now. On top of the world in terms of contract, likely to improve his game as time goes on, and now his whole career is on the brink. I hope he learned something while he was at Duke. I will certaintly be rooting for a full recovery, this kind of stuff is just such a shame

Enjoy the good times, appreciate what you have and always treat others better than you treat yourself.
