Soxbadger
Right now the entire station is completely locked down due to a shooting. If you use this station, try and find alternative transportatation home for December 8, 2006. There is no word on when the station will re-open. I was right in front of there at about 3:25-3:30 and the scene was very chaotic. People were running out of the building and the street was completely shut down. BobDylan
2 confirmed shot, one in the head (in critical condition) one in the foot (in good condition) and there is word that there is a third shot but that hasn't been confirmed. Nobody knows the shooters motive, if there were multiple shooters, or if they're dead. It has been said they are still in the building, however. All trains inbound and outbound have been stopped. Soxbadger
http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=55802 I suggest finding alternative transportation if you use this station. According to the radio, the situation is over. But they are not giving any updates on when the trains will start to run.
BobDylan
They now believe the third shot was the actual shooter. They're saying the third ambulance to leave was the shooter. Reported that a fourth has been shot now. Edited December 8, 2006 by BobDylan
