witesoxfan
What a dumb f***. I don't think dumb f*** begins to describe him. I mean, you have to be flat out stupid....not just the stupid we call Roman when he trashes MB....to do some stupid s*** like that. That kind of thing defies common sense. I don't mean this in a violent way, though I don't think I'm the only one in saying this when I do....but when people are stupid like that, you just want to smack them to knock some sense into them. LowerCaseRepublican
Is he going to get around this because he's a celebrity? Celebrity? More like washed up has-been jackass. There are a lot of things I'd call Canseco, but "celebrity" is not one of them.

Soxplosion
Some boxer who lived in my neighborhood got a routine traffic ticket and when he went to court, he brought a big rock of cocaine. Just another example of flat out criminal stupidity. And come on, give the guy a break. I mean, this is the same retard who had a homerun bounce off his head and also said MLB forced him out when he was hitting .172 at AAA... cwsox
he won't get 15 but he won''t get one, he'll get more for sure not his first violation, and the judge warned him the last time the guy is either really dependently sick i the same way my late cousin was for drugs, or incredibly arrogant and stupid or delusional - instead of advertizing days with himself to make money, he should havce said, gotta get counseling and stay off the steroids until my probation is up - he'll do more than one easy; you can only try a court's patience so many tiomes and there are limits to how often one violates probation

He's in jail now awating his future. What a dumb f***. If I told you this was breaking my heart would you believe me? what is the difference between Canseco and a Ligue? Repeated drug offenders, attacking people in public places - he was once a big star and he threw ity all away on his own - he copuld have taken some steps to protect himself at least til he was done with probation - but no, he had to keep using Canseco is stupid and more far more arrogant than a Ligue - at least Ligue had a really rough life and not any financial resources to draw on to get treatment - and Ligue apologised. Still waiting for that from Jose. Instead he does a month for a violation, gets out, knows he has drug testing, and does it again. These overpaid whining pampered jocks who everyone worships and excuses, whiny little bastards, arrogantly thinking because they can play a sport they can do anything they want and flout all the rules - jive talking mouthas all belong in the prison. Maybe then they will begin to understand that the same rules apply to them too.

cwsox
bmr, don;t give me that bulls*** when you know nothing of me and just love to stoke fights. I have kept more people of prison and jail and worked with more people charged and convicted and victims and families of both than you will ever do if you started now and tried to catch up with me. Come up and visit sometime and I'll take you on the rounds with me. I have been flailed for compassion with people who have some done some things that are beynd comprehension. I work closely with the county jail chaplain and with the people who come into the law office I work for and into the congregation I serve. You attack me for lack of compassion, you are very uninformed. Healing begins with acceptance. The kid who came into the office today with 3 felony counts, I will move heaven and earth for because he identified his problem and wants desparately to put his life back together. Ask any judge up here who takes on the hardcore cases and who helps them get their lives together and who has saved a lot of people from jail time by working with them in rebuilding their lives. Ask anyone who knows me, ask HSC what type of person I am before you attack that way. Healing begins with acceptance. A person who commits a violent crime and goes into denial and a person who being on probation for that vipent crime desplays no remorse, no self-understanding, and then violates probation, goes to jail because its not the first violation, and then gets out and knowing testing laus ahead does the same thing again - not until that person gets out of denial will anything happen and at that point, spoiled arrogant jerks who think the rules don't apply to them - I've seen enough of them too. Healing begins with acceptance. A person who has all the resources and continues to defy the system may be as chemically dependent as all hell but no slack gets cut until they say, "I have a problem." If this were some nonsports figure, some guy the same age who never was a star, who never had all the advantages that a hell of a lot of people don't have, there would be no slack cut for them. This guy only needed to ask for help and he would have had it. Not until someone recognizies their problem, not until then, can anything be done. In the meantime, those who have contempt and defy their responsibilty repeatedly, let them do the time, they did the crime, now do it. Ligue at least said he had a problem and had reasons for it and apologised. Ligue I have compassion for, and I got blasted for that here, look up the threads. No one else believed him but at least he offered the right words of remorse. Canseco just went out and repeat offended again while on probation for a violent crime that if he were a Ligue he might have done more time. He got slack cut for him by being a jock star. He asked for it, he got it. The rules apply to him. The moment he gets a grip and realizes he has a problem, then is the time for compassion. As long as he thinks he can arrogantly defy things, no compassion - I would love to see him tyurn his life around but he has said f*** you to every chance he had. Darryl Strawberry That guy could have been Barry f***ing Bonds and then some....and the dumb son of a b**** liked drugs more then immortality. Well, maybe not that good, but he had hall of fame talent, and he threw it away. Jose Canseco, IMO, could be inducted into the HoF based on his stats alone. As they/I say, stats are only half the story. Canseco has better stats then some HoFers, but is not HoF worthy. It would be a shame if he is voted in.
