The school has been put on lockdown. The teacher was taken to a hospital and now the ER is on lockdown. That's all I know at this point. YASNY Posted December 14, 2006 Author Share Posted December 14, 2006 A New Jersey elementary school is under quarantine today after a teacher received a letter with an unknown substance and had a medical reaction to it. The teacher, whose identity has not been released, was then rushed to the emergency room of Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. Her condition was not immediately available, hospital spokeswoman Jane Yepez said. The school where the incident occurred was Garfield Park-East School in Willingboro, N.J., which houses pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. All 425 students are currently being held at the Country Club School, and parents are asked to go to that location. Emergency workers dressed in protective gear are currently investigating the scene.
