hammerhead johnson
QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Dec 14, 2006 -> 11:50 PM) One of his buddies had a half ounce of weed on him, which is beyond tame. That was the initial report, but they said on the news last night that his buddy actually had two ounces on him, which means that he's a dealer. Nobody carries two ounces around unless they intend to distribute some of it, whereas, a half ounce would qualify as a personal stash. RibbieRubarb
His lawyers will probably keep this from seeing any court action until late February. The league cannot enforce its conduct policy until there is a conviction or a guilty/no contest plea.

Unless you had to buy in bulk to get a better price, or you smoke everyday because your buddy is an NFL athlete and supports you.
Queen Prawn
The biggest issue/problem I saw when reading the articles on this was that there were loaded weapons out in plain site while there were two small children there.

Kid Gleason
This guy sounds like a real twit. Not all that familiar with the personalities on the Bears, but are there better people on this team than this goon and the box of rocks named Hester? No offense to boxes of rocks meant. Kalapse
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Dec 15, 2006 -> 08:27 PM) This guy sounds like a real twit. Not all that familiar with the personalities on the Bears, but are there better people on this team than this goon and the box of rocks named Hester? No offense to boxes of rocks meant. There's always Ricky Manning, he seems like a fine upstanding citizen. Just ask all of his Jewish friends. Brian Urlacher and the money he gives every month to downtrodden southern women of promiscuous nature. Fred Miller and Olin Kruetz have done some work with the with the FBI including a 'Proper Use of Free Weights' seminar they put on last year. Much like Devin Hester, Adrian Peterson often participates in public readings of Shakespearean literature. So yes they do have some good character guys on the team. knightni
So, why were they searching his home to begin with? A gun card (a misdemeanor) seems awful petty. I bet 75% of professional athletes know a guy who has 2 ounces of weed on him. Seems to me that the cops got a tip and ended up just charging Tank with whatever the law allowed to justify the invasion of his home. Yes, I am sure that is all it was seeing has how Tank Johnson's convicted felon 'bodygaurd' is now dead after a fight broke out at some bar last night. Tank may or may not have been there and got the hell out when shots were fired.

OK, this is just off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure the police mentioned they were monitoring the house, I believe it was for drug dealing (the guy who is now dead had pot on him)
whitesoxfan101
Tank, your boy with all his drugs is now dead (by the gun), your lucky your not dead.....take the warning and get out of this life before your not here anymore. MSHAWKS
Tank had this guy clipped because he rolled on him when talking to the cops. Posse was a snitch and dead men can't testify. Tank being there with Posse at the time of the murder is the perfect alibi............I mean why would he have the guy killed when he's out with him? At least that's how Tank will sell it to the PO-lice.
