WhiteSoxfan1986
Who's on everyone's list? here's mine- 1. Danks 2. Fields 3. Sweeney 4. Gio 5. Broadway 6. McCulloch 7. Massett 8. Owens 9. haeger 10. Russell This is off the top of my head, so If I looked into it harder it would change. 1-2-3 are very close.
Heads22
Top of my head? 1. Danks 2. Gio 3. Sweeney 4. Fields 5. Broadway We don't have much after that.
danman31
Off hand I'd say more Broadway, less Fields, Gio, and Sweeney. I have little faith Sweeney or Fields will be above average starters. Gio is a meh prospect to me. Intriguing because of his stuff and talent, but his stature worries me and inconsistent 06 somewhat confirmed that to me. CWSGuy406
Broadway at eight?!? I'd go... 1.) Danks (best bet of a safe player, yet potential to be a solid #2-3). 2.) Sweeney (numbers started to back-up the 'scouts' last year) 3.) Gonzalez 4.) Fields (IMO 3-4 are interchangeable, I went with Gio because pitching gets the nod over a future corner OFer) 5.) Broadway 6.) Cunningham 7.) Haeger 8.) Masset 9.) McCollough 10.) Perez Honorable mentions for Boooone, and a couple of the AA pitchers (Harrell, Egbert). Heads22
Egbert is dangerously close to the top 10. If he can move up through AA and AAA this next year he'll be top 10 because he's done nothing but produce lately.

daa84
From Jim Callis on Baseball America... Since we originally ran our White Sox Top 10, Chicago has acquired six young pitchers: Gio Gonzalez and Gavin Floyd (in the Freddy Garcia deal with the Phillies); Andy Sisco (for Ross Gload from the Royals); and Danks, Nick Masset and Jacob Rasner in the McCarthy trade. Floyd and Sisco have too many big league innings to qualify as prospects. We inserted Gonzalez as the White Sox' No. 3 prospect in the Handbook, but the McCarthy/Danks deal happened too late to be included. If it had occurred in time, I would have lined up the Chicago Top 10 like this: 1. Ryan Sweeney, of 2. Josh Fields, 3b 3. John Danks, lhp 4. Gio Gonzalez, lhp 5. Lance Broadway, rhp 6. Kyle McCulloch, rhp 7. Charlie Haeger, rhp 8. Nick Masset, rhp 9. Aaron Cunningham, of 10. Adam Russell, rhp

PAUL KONERKO 14
Don't feel like putting together a top 10 list, but top 3: Ryan Sweeney, Josh Fields, and John Danks.

beautox
QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 3, 2007 -> 08:03 PM) One Mr. Jack Egbert. do you think Jack could become as good as Wang if not better?
Heads22
He is successful. He'll likely start out the year in BHam's rotation. However, for his development, he needs to keep moving up. He's a guy, who, with VERY low HR totals, should do fairly well in Charlotte and would have a chance to succeed in Chicago.
