Hope I did the link correctly. http://rockymountainnews.com/drmn/columnis..._83_130,00.html If Sammy's smart, he'll never answer another question about the incident. The talk about it is virtually gone, and I think he's a lucky guy -- his reputation a few years from now will not be tarnished very much at all from this incident, when just 2 weeks ago it seemed he was screwed. "In the baseball world, Sammy would have been better off if bags of cocaine had flown out of his bat instead of cork" -- Artie Lang with that hilarious, yet at the same time sad, observation. Soxplosion
Good column. Oh, and they will remember this. Theyll remember it when one day a couple decades from now the HOF staff and finds Sammys plaque replaced with a framed picture of Sammy breaking his bat and exposing himself for the cheater he truly is... clujer420
ROTFLMAO!!! When did he say this?? OMG... tears here!! LOL, he said this like the day after it happened. One of the funniest things I've heard him say -- and that's saying something, as Artie is simply hilarious.
