bigruss
Baldelli would command more than that, the DRays are trying to make a statement lately that they wont trade their talent unless there is a huge deal in their favor, they want some young major league ready players not just prospects now, they finally have the hitting to win now and realize that keeping all of the guys longterm will be tricky and expensive so young starting pitching like BMAc is wat they are after... visquel isnt even worth those two guys, id have rather signed Alex Gonzalez, visquel doesnt really fit into our plans of building for now and the future by trading a possible leadoff man for a 50 yearold vet Pods Iguchi Thome Konerko Dye Crede AJ Cintron Anderson Uribe will start depending on the court matters, i just dont see KW dealing alot more right now, but i can see him making a minor move for the bench or something like that again

That looks right on, and here's hoping that we won't be so damn HR dependent, and we can actually manufacture some runs. Given how HR dependent we were last season in the 2nd half (especially) I'm rather shocked that, to this point, the lineup from last year is still intact. Baines3
Either way if Konerko is batting 3rd or fourth, both Paulie and Thome have the power to rocket one out the ball park. I prefer Anderson over Sweeney in center. Edited January 8, 2007 by whitesox1976
