There is an old school butcher shop on halster and grand where you can get serious cuts of meat if needed, including large suckling pigs. I was buying all of our meat there, however have found something a little closer to home out in the Western Burbs. Casey's in Western Springs has a nice selection. Reminds me so much of Jack and Pats. Good quality meat, and a lot of specialization. They have great Chicken Kiev, garlic pork chops, and stuffed chicken breasts. They also have a nice selection of items they have prepared, that they have frozen for ease of cooking for quick meals.
