clujer420
Jimenez started it...but I am happy either way. Considering how blazing fast Petterson is and a very hard slide by Cubbie SS at 2nd...we're lucky to turn two. Jose made two other tough playes today that went unnoticed however. How about...the SOX made a good play, instead of giving the credit to an individual? We blame a lot of the team's shortcomings on focusing on a single player over the team...but as fans, we are guilty of that -- some of us more than others. Hey if Josew would have f***ed up, I would be riding his ass for the remainder of the game.... Still, I making my point: DP, especially on a s***ty infield like Urinal and a fast runner are MUCH tougher than people make it out to be; they prefer to use error totals instead of seeing the whole picture...I am just a messenger, don't shot me. southsider2k5
Nice, but risky, a 2 strike sac bunt by Jiminez. I bet that comes from the bench. Jerry made him bunt with 2 strikes. BTW Colon is at 81 pitches through 6 innings pitched.

BrandoFan
f***ing Maggs....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is exactly what I mean by "recognizing the ball....and not trying to overdo it", he did the opposite on a tough pitcher's pitch with less than 2 stirkes....another squandered chance...sickiening. clujer420
This little girl singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"...how funny would it have been if she would have said "root, root, root for the WHITE SOX"? Oh well. Through 6 1/2, 1-0 Sox.
doubleM23
There's no way Jimenez would be bunting on his own.

BrandoFan
Damn Maggs with another GIDP It's only his 11th or 12th. IIf he hits into 4 of em with Sox winning 10-4 I wouldn't care, but this one is huge.

BrandoFan
Glad to see Alou go down. He's the best hitter they have. If Colon makes his pitches, they may not touch him at all, but he keeps falling behind My opinion is this: Colon simply doesn't care enough, he is very calk-- too calm. Colon cares plenty. Just because someone doesn't physically show emotion, that doesn't equate to a lack of care/desire.
