I don't give a crap about the Bears, other than with any luck a Bears victory will help quiet people about the '85 Bears and I won't have to hear those idiots McMichael and Ditka so much. I no longer have the burning desire for my team to win. There is nothing more I really feel I need to see and hope for. Sports are now a recreational passing of time and much less stressful. The losses hurt less and the wins although great are not as satisfying. I am a big fan but no longer a HUGE one of sports in general. I like it this way. Still Go Bears. I like the Bears, but I'm much more into baseball than football, plus I enjoyed the Super Bowl XX victory immensely so seeing them in a second Super Bowl (albeit 21 years later) has nowhere the impact of a championship that was 88 years in the making (and one that until that point I never thought I'd live to see!). I wasn't brought up as a Sox fan...I figured that out on my own. But the amount of heartbreak and just plan suckitude I've had to go through in just 19 years as a Cyclone fan tips it that way.
