Bears a nice group of thugs and punks, like most NFL teams.

Uh?

And the Cubs factor is about 1000th on my list of reasons why the WS was incredible.

Simple, Sox all the way. We're having people over for the Super Bowl, but it's just an excuse to have people over. I don't give a crap about the Bears, other than with any luck a Bears victory will help quiet people about the '85 Bears and I won't have to hear those idiots McMichael and Ditka so much.

The White Sox winning the World Series took all of the unachievable dreams for which I watch sports away. I no longer have the burning desire for my team to win. There is nothing more I really feel I need to see and hope for. Sports are now a recreational passing of time and much less stressful. The losses hurt less and the wins although great are not as satisfying. I am a big fan but no longer a HUGE one of sports in general.

I like it this way.

Still Go Bears.

Well, the choice is obvious for me, as I am a diehard Cheesehead. But I'll still give my input just to say it.

The 2005 White Sox World Series tops everything else in my history of sports. The 1996 Packers Super Bowl is second, and its not that close. I don't get teary-eyed and goose-bumped when I think of the 1996 team. For the '05 Sox, I do. It's incredible, even to this day I still get that reaction.

Same here, I'm also a Packer's fan, but even the 96 Packers championship doesn't come close to the 2005 WS Championship. I don't think that anything in my life will ever top the feeling of the whole playoff run, and I'm only 29, it was an amazing time.

No question, for me it will always be the 2005 White Sox World Championship. I like the Bears, but I'm much more into baseball than football, plus I enjoyed the Super Bowl XX victory immensely so seeing them in a second Super Bowl (albeit 21 years later) has nowhere the impact of a championship that was 88 years in the making (and one that until that point I never thought I'd live to see!).

The Sox, but if Iowa State were to win a national championship in football or men's basketball, that would surpass the Sox moment. I wasn't brought up as a Sox fan...I figured that out on my own. But the amount of heartbreak and just plan suckitude I've had to go through in just 19 years as a Cyclone fan tips it that way.
