Chisoxfn
I am thrilled to see Kenny was a man, admitted his mistake in going public and apologized to the Buehrle's. Couldn't make me happier because Mark has been one of the classiest and best pitchers to wear a White Sox jersey in this franchise's history. BurlyMan56
I believe the woman that brought up that question to Williams with proof in hand was one of our own, Steff. At least I'm pretty sure, I also give her mad props
whitesoxfan101
I'm usually more a KW fan than Buehrle, but KW was over the line with what he said. Good to see he is man enough to admit it.
DBAHO
Nice to see he has a little hope still at re-signing him. And maybe, just maybe, they could find some common ground (because you never know what's going to happen with the market in the future). QUOTE(BurlyMan56 @ Jan 28, 2007 -> 04:24 PM) I believe the woman that brought up that question to Williams with proof in hand was one of our own, Steff. At least I'm pretty sure, I also give her mad props A woman stepped to the crowd microphone with a newspaper in hand, and a slight bit of scolding for Williams followed by a minor critique for Buehrle. You know, you could be right. Would be pretty cool if it was the case again.
whitesoxfan101
I would contest that the fact it was only a "slight bit of scolding" eliminates Steff from the equation.

The more KW opened his mouth the more he hurt the organization in situations like this. Hopefully they really try to hammer out a deal. southsider2k5
From what I understand I am 98% sure it was her... Also good for Kenny for standing up for his mistakes. Maybe some people could learn from his example...

Sounds to me like Kenny is blaming the media for what he said....Yeah, he could change the way he talks about upcoming free agents, but don't say something publicly, and then complain about it later when the media/public calls him on it.
