Chisoxfn
This could turn into a great move if the Bulls can land a better defensive small forward. Anyone up for Shawn Marion? I'd love to pick him up. He's a solid small forward that can play offense and defense and is very young. I think the Bulls also must move Marcus Fizer cause Lonny Baxter is a pimp. I'd move Fizer and Crawford for a 1st round pick and back up point guard or just move Fizer and keep Crawford. The one thing I want to know is if the Bulls could land Vince Carter for Jalen Rose, Fizer, and Crawford as well as a future first. I don't know how salaries work, but I wouldn't mind the move. Dunleavy is another guy I'd like to acquire, but not for Rose, I'd rather look to move Crawford, Fizer and a future pick or something. Then deal Rose for Latrell or another very very good player, maybe Eddie Jones and a pick.

I REALLY THINK THE BULLS SHOULD BUILD A GOOD BASE TO BUILD OFF OF INSTEAD OF TRYING TO MAKE THE BIG TRADE TO GET GOOD RIGHT NOW. A GOOD TEAM IS NOT MADE IN 24 HOURS. A GOOD TEAM STARTS WITH A SOLID BASE OF PLAYERS THAT IS BUILT ON THROUGH SOLID DRAFTING. ITS KINDA PAINFUL, BUT ITS LESS PAINFUL THAN STARTING OVER EVERY 3 YEARS. Chisoxfn
I think the base is their. I like Rose a whole lot, I jsut wish he could play better defense. Offensively he's incredible but I wonder if he will be able to share the ball with Jwill effectively. Both are big time play-makers that could definately help this team. I'd love having Jalen here and then move to acquire Dunleavy with him as our starting 2 guard and Hassell coming off the bench as well as Erob at the 2 and 3 and Hassell could even back up at the one defensively with Jalen running the point when Jwill is out. Then Marshall backs up the 4 and 5 as does Baxter. Fizer out of town, crawford out of town.

Fizer and Crawford for a 1st round pick or Dunleavy? Unless there's an NBA GM the euqiuvalent of KW I don't see it happening. Also, Vince not goin anywhere. Chisoxfn
Well Rose for Marion no, we'd have to give up Crawford and probably Fizer and take on some salary I'd assume, maybe they wouldn't want Fizer and we'd have to give up a first round pick. As far as Dunleavy goes, that offer is what I read in a couple places as Golden State desperately needs a point guard and Dunleavy has nowhere to play their and has really struggled out of the gate. I happen to like Dunleavy quite a bit though and think he'd be an awesome pickup.
Jjav829
I'd love to see Marion but that isn't happening. As far as Dunleavy, Sam Smith is at it again proposing a trade of Mike Dunleavy, and Danny Fortson for Jamal Crawford, a (protected) 1st round pick, and ERob or Fizer. Obviously it's just Sam Smith at it again, but hey, he did propose the Jalen Rose trade!
SI1020
I like Rose but understand he is having problems with Cartwright. Would hate to see him go. Man those glory days of the 90's seem so long ago.
Chisoxfn
I like Rose a lot, but I notice at times it looks like Rose and Jwill can't share the ball. You'll see Jwill cut open and Rose will hold onto it. I like Rose a whole lot, but if we could get another real good small forward who can play defense, then it would be a great move. If we keep him, its still great, but I think the Bulls should then move Crawford and Fizer and a future pick for a starting guard.
