you guys have no idea how much you will hate Cintron if he is starting at SS. No idea.

We need Juan Uribe's glove at SS. I can handle the batting average because of his glove and he does hit for some good power when he does connect

Remember, this isnt the Cubs. The media will keep this in front of everyone until resolution

With all due respect, are you kidding me? This has hardly been given any media attention. SoxMachine has made a point to point out how lacking the coverage has been.

As much as he isnt as good as Uribe is defensively. He isnt that horrible, he could start on probably half of the MLB teams. There would be a drop off for sure, but hes very serviceable, and hits better.

There's no way he starts for half the teams, otherwise it would have cost more than a AAAA reliever to acquire him. He's just not good enough offensively nor defensively to start.

He is servicable, but the Sox have too many serviceable people starting as it is. Uribe is more than serviceable, because he provides good defense along with power. If he were to make contact on a more regular basis and/or be a little more patient at the plate, he'd be a huge asset to the team.

As the story goes: http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...-home-headlines

Uribe IS in shape.

I hope so!

I'll believe it when I see it. He looked like he had packed on a few more pounds the last time we saw a picture of him walking out of court a month ago.
