As much as he isnt as good as Uribe is defensively. He isnt that horrible, he could start on probably half of the MLB teams. There's no way he starts for half the teams, otherwise it would have cost more than a AAAA reliever to acquire him. He's just not good enough offensively nor defensively to start. He is servicable, but the Sox have too many serviceable people starting as it is. Uribe is more than serviceable, because he provides good defense along with power.
