EvilMonkey
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,253400,00.html Virginia Man Faces Charges for Assaulting Republicans Wednesday, February 21, 2007 FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — A Fredericksburg man is facing several assault charges after police say he hunted down a group of Republicans and confronted them in their home over their beliefs. Police said Andrew Stone, 23, recently went to a home in Fredericksburg at around 5:30 p.m. after he saw a name and nearby address on a Republican Web site. Stone confronted three residents about their political viewpoints, police said. When he found out the residents supported the Republican-led war effort in Iraq, police say Stone became enraged. Stone then hit the homeowner and his roommates several times as they tried to force him out of the door, police said. Stone faces three counts of assault and battery I am suprised he managed to find 2 Republicans in Virginia.

Yeah, that must be it. Edited February 22, 2007 by Alpha Dog

Yeah, that must be it. Careful -- you talk that way to us Dems and you take your chances. My favorite part of this is a Republican admitting that his party comes second when it comes to an interest in peace.

Texsox
The guy obviously has some problems. First, being a Socialist, second, some anger management. BTW if this was an attempt at poking a little fun at Dems, they can be the same blood thirsty killers as Republicans when the cause is right. Kill them mother f***ers kill! Don't show us the body bags, just kill.

I think its interesting that the assumption is, because this guy dislikes Republicans, he must be a Democrat. There are other options you know. But I did find the article, and Dog's line about Republicans in VA, sort of humorous. People are dumb. Seriously, when in the world will people learn to stop trying to use the "Group guilt" fallacy to blame everyone who disagrees with them for the actions of a few crazy people? And this goes for an awful lot of topics.

And this goes for an awful lot of topics. There was no group guilt implied, you should recognize that. Chet made a comment that was so over-the-top ignorant (the comment not the poster) – that "passionate pro-lifers have never taken lives for their anti-abortion causes" – and a reasonable person could only assume that this was a sarcastic comment. No reply yet from Chet, however, so maybe the comment was made in earnest. If, so it is an entirely uninformed comment.

When has chet posted in the fillibuster before? What was the point in bringing up aborting (regarless if it was sarcastic) in this thread? When minors posted here we had no idea if she was serious or not until the same rhetoric was posted over and over by her. That comment was very minors-like. I know he's posted in the "Dem only" thread before. I presume he posted it to show that there are hypocritical conservatives, too (in response to the op). It strikes me as an overreaction (I think the original post is just a funny story, not meant as any sort of political comment), but it definitely is not serious.
